“THE ONE WITH THE METAL SHOE RACK”
Previously on SPRAY SCHOOL by COSMOSLAC
In the second lesson of SPRAY SCHOOL by COSMOSLAC, street artist Yiakou as a teacher showed the aspiring student Karima how to paint a wooden bench with COSMOSLAC Chalk Effect spray and personalize it with line drawings. If you haven’t seen it, click here.
The #MetalChallenge
It’s time for our talented student’s first test – and yours too! Don’t worry, Yiakou is lenient. Can a boring or rusty metal shoe rack be totally transformed in just 2 minutes? Time is running out!
Gloves, glasses, and a spacious surface to place the shoe rack on.
Shake the COSMOSLAC EASY MAX spray well and start to apply thin layers of spray on all sides of the surface, taking care to cover the details. Two coats of spray are sufficient.
And….that’s it! Let it dry for 24 hours and put your shoes on!
COSMOSLAC sprays dry to the touch in just 10-15 minutes, but we recommend using your new masterpiece the next day.
SPRAY HACKS:
If you want to transform a metallic object and maintain its texture, opt for the COSMOSLAC EASY MAX range, which gives a satin finish to the texture.
If there are spots where the surface has peeled off, remove them before you start spray painting.
The spray paint shade used for the metal shoe rack is this one.
