Art has the power to transform the old into something new — to reveal beauty through detail and to capture deeply personal stories. In this article, we meet an artist who, through her love for craftsmanship and the recycling of materials, creates unique works that combine imagination and practicality. From her early experiments with collage to her contemporary creations in wood, we’ll explore her journey, her sources of inspiration, and the philosophy that shapes her art.

What is your story?

I was born in 1987 in the Czech Republic, but I grew up in Thessaloniki. Since childhood, I loved creating and began with collage on various surfaces. In 2012, I started “experimenting” with objects more intensively. Although I studied computer programming, my true passion was always craftsmanship. So I decided to turn it into a profession — and from there, everything evolved naturally.

What exactly do you do?

I work with wood. I modify and transform furniture and objects, giving them new life. I reuse materials and reshape them into something unique.

Where can we find your work?

In my workshop in Thessaloniki — the place where I create, experiment, and explore materials.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

From everything around me: nature, everyday life, images and moments that surround me. Every detail can spark a thought, an idea, a feeling — and eventually, a new piece.

What music do you listen to while you work?

It depends on my mood! From Metallica and punk rock to Bessie Argyri — every day is a new experience.

Do you have favorite colors?

Yes: black and green. Black carries mystery; green is tied to nature.

Is there a director who inspires you?

Wes Anderson! I love his aesthetic, his colors, and his unique cinematic vision.

Your favorite film?

“Some Like It Hot”! A timeless classic I never get tired of watching.

What does art mean to you?

Art is a way of expression, rebirth, and redefinition. It allows me to transform the old into something new and unique.
